For my entire life, I have had millions of thoughts and ideas swirling around my mind, maybe it is because of my ADHD, maybe it is my Autism, maybe both… who knows. It took scrolling through Pinterest and realizing that, yes people still read blogs, that I could and should create one. Best case, tons of people read what I have to put out into the vast internet and I gain some randomly defined level of success with my blog. Worst case, I have a fun place to put my thoughts and ideas that stays relatively private and to myself. To me, that’s a win win situation.
Who Am I?
As a short introduction for anyone finding me, my name is Olivia, but my friends and family call me Liv. I’m twenty-eight, a mom of two little boys, and a wife to my high school sweet heart. My boys are four and almost two years old. My oldest, Oliver, is a spit fire. He is full of endless energy and sass. His brother, Julian, is cuddle-bear who likes to get up to any mischief he thinks he can get away with. I like to crochet, and whittle, and I love gardening. I hope one day to have our own farm/homestead of our own, but for now we are living in my childhood home with my mom. Oh, my husband just separated from the Air Force as well. I have three cats that I adore and two doggies that I… tolerate. I’m very much a cat person.
What Will Be On This Blog?
Anything and everything. I know some people go for their niches but I am my own niche. I’ll post on my hobbies, my kids, my garden, basically anything I damn well please. However, if I get engagement or requests to post something that is doable or something that I find interesting I will totally do so. I hope to go around our local area, KCK, and do reviews of random places. Places for kids, families, date areas, anything that tickles my fancy. This will be a love it or leave it type of blog. Find a post of mine you like? Love that. Find some that don’t care for or mesh with? Cool, come back again for another post and leave the ones you don’t like. Because I am my target audience.
Why Am I Blogging?
I feel I’ve sort of already covered this but… basically because I wanna. I have a lot to say, a lot of thoughts, and instead of pretending I’m on a talk show or doing an interview in my mind why not just post these things instead?
What’s to come?
I do have a few posts that I look forward to doing. Some on the topic of my favorite video game, Stardew Valley. I have a handful about how I parent. Such as what I feed the boys, how I play with them, and how I manage as a stay at home mom. Also how I manage as an autistic mom. I also really want to go around the KC area and rate places, specifically kid areas, and post them on here. I am also, of course, totally open to recommendations.
